The goal of our organization is to increase network automation, accuracy, and efficiency resulting in large-scale network operational excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation and support of scripts, bots, and/or tools to facilitate automation and technician efficiency. These individuals are primarily driven by projects in the network that require greater attention to detail and management from a more advanced technical resource.Īdditionally, this position will support the Network and Customer Transformation organization and is an opportunity to work in a DevOps environment. Performs critical function within the network repair process and can ultimately impact the NOC's ability to meet Network Availability and Restoration commitments made to customers. Responsible for resolving transport network problems. This knowledge is gained by working closely with vendors, Architecture & Engineering (A&E) and product to develop the design and operational model for the implementations. The primary function is to have a global view of the network understanding maintenance impacts, new design/products before they are implemented. This position is for Swing/Second Shift responsible for applying in-depth knowledge of the transport network and networking protocols along with excellent communication skills in order to perform in-depth troubleshooting of all issues that arise.
